About Roses (Imanbek Remix)

"Roses" is a song by Guyanese-American rapper Saint Jhn, originally released on July 22, 2016 and later included on his 2018 album Collection One. It was then remixed by Kazakh producer Imanbek and released as a single on September 18, 2019. The remix helped the song gain international recognition. 19-year-old Kazakh musician and producer Imanbek Zeykenov remixed the song in early 2019 which was later officially released as a single in October 2019 through Effective Records, B1 Recordings and Godd Complexx/Hitco.

Carlos St. John, better known by his stage name Saint Jhn (stylized as SAINt JHN), is Guyanese-American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He released his first album under the Saint Jhn moniker, Collection One, in March 2018. He is best known for his single "Roses", initally released in 2016. A 2019 remix of "Roses" by Kazakh DJ Imanbek helped the song become a worldwide hit; it has so far reached the top 20 of the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped the charts in Australia, the Netherlands, Ireland, New Zealand and the UK. Prior, John wrote songs for a number of acts, including Jidenna, Hoodie Allen, Usher, Kiesza, among others. He is a founding member of the Gødd Complexx music collective.
