The dripping vocals of London Grammars “Hey Now†received the Arty treatment 4 fateful years ago. It was a different time for house music, even though it wasn’t that long ago. The Alpha 9 project was probably just a thought at this time in Arty’s career. London Grammar impressed people with their “If You Wait†album. There were a number of exceptional remix artists that were called in to remix their debut studio album. The album debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart with first-week sales of 33,130 copies. Arty’s rendition is full of spacey vibes and big lofty pads that compliment the vocals wonderfully. The original doesn’t have a big room feel to it, however the Russian producer fills that gap in great fashion. He adds unique, articulated doses of euphoria while he still stays true the original soundscape. The vocals from Hannah Reid or beautifully delivered and the track still stands the test of time today, occasionally making an appearance in the sets of major DJ’s/producers.
