The Season 18 finale of The Voice may have gone virtual on Tuesday night (May 19), but that didn't stop Nick Jonas from debuting his new solo track "Until We Meet Again" during the show. For his performance, the first-time Voice coach, whose artist Thunderstorm Artis came in second place during the finale, took to the mountains wearing a bright red sherpa-lined jacket as he belted out the quarantine anthem. "So until we meet again/ Imma keep smile, smile, smile, smilin'/ We could be miles apart/ But you know I'm never too far/ My friend, until we meet again," Jonas crooned in his famous falsetto on the track's gentle chorus. While "Until We Meet Again" marks the singer's first solo release since his 2018 collaborations with Mustard ("Anywhere) and German DJ Robin Schulz ("Right Now"), he's also been busy readying new Jonas Brothers music with his siblings, dropping the socially-distanced video for Karol G-assisted single "X" earlier this week. (The band also unveiled the long-awaited studio version of ballad "Five More Minutes," which they premiered live at the 2020 Grammys, alongside the flirtatious, Latin-influenced track.)
Nicholas Jerry Jonas (born September 16, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter and actor. Jonas began acting in theater at the age of seven, and released his debut single in 2002 which caught the attention of Columbia Records where Jonas formed a band with his older brothers, Joe and Kevin, known as the Jonas Brothers. The group released their debut studio album It's About Time through the Columbia label in 2006. After leaving Columbia Records and signing with Hollywood Records, the group released their self-titled second studio album in 2007, which became their breakthrough record. The band became prominent figures on the Disney Channel during this time, gaining a large following through the network and they appeared in the widely successful musical television film Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) as well as two of their own series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream (2008–2010) and Jonas (2009–2010).
