About Confetti (feat. Saweetie)

"Confetti" is a song by British girl group Little Mix. It was released through RCA UK on 4 November 2020, as the third promotional single from their sixth studio album of the same name. The song was written by MNEK, Kamille, Maegan Cottone and TMS, and was produced by the latter. "Confetti" is a pop song which is reminiscent of a compilation of early 2000s hits. It sees the group celebrating independence after a break-up and focuses on their individual enjoyment of life.

A remix of "Confetti" featuring American rapper Saweetie was later released on 30 April 2021, as the fourth and final single from the album. It marked Little Mix's first song released as a trio, following Jesy Nelson's departure from the group in December 2020, although her vocals are featured in the original album version. A music video for the remix was released the same day as the song's release, and was included as a bonus track on the Record Store Day vinyl editions of the album, released on 12 June. "Confetti" received generally positive reviews upon its initial and final release from music critics, with many praising its feel-good vibe and self-sufficient lyrics. The remix was described as an "explosive return" as this was their first release of 2021 and as a trio. Commercially, the album version peaked within the top 40 of the UK Official Singles Chart at number 23, while the remix peaked at number 9. The song was later certified silver in the country by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
